Although I plan on going long again in England in 2009 I am currently enjoying getting athletes ready for the Olympics/Worlds/daily grind, each one of you has inspired me to push the limits again.
Physical Address: 2989 Piedmont Road Lower Level, Atlanta, Georgia 30305. The location is in the Buckhead District directly at the intersection of Pharr Road and Piedmont Road.
Directions:
Once inside Piedmont Commons: As you pull in there are 3 brick buildings. 2989 Piedmont is the most Southern building of the three. Once you pull into the complex you will come to a stop sign right away. Make a right turn at the stop sign and the building is located physically right across from the Cactus Car Wash. Free Parking anywhere you like outside. Take the door marked 2989. You will see the nameplate: Eileen Steil Sports Massage outside the door. Take this door in, then go to the lower level. At the bottom of the steps take the door on the left into the waiting area. If you are a new patient please fill out the yellow intake form on the blue clipboard.
400 South to Sydney Marcus Exit (one exit past Lenox): Take a right for 4 blocks, then another right at Piedmont Road and head North. Take Piedmont Road past Miami Circle and the New Mercedes Benz dealership. The next traffic light will be Pharr Road turn right into Piedmont Commons.
75 South to West Paces Ferry Road: Get in the left lane of the exit and head under the bridge. Stay on Paces Ferry past the Governor's Mansion. This is a lovely and peaceful drive (about 15 minutes from I75 to the front door). As you come into Buckhead you will pass my favorite restaurant Chops and Whole Foods. Due to recent construction (future site of Atlanta's Rodeo Drive) get into the left lane and stay straight crossing over Peachtree Road. At the next real stoplight (not the blinking one) turn right onto Grandview. Go past the 4 way stop sign and the next traffic light will be Pharr Road. Turn left onto Pharr and continue for 8 blocks past Frankie Allan Park and the Post Office. Get into the center lane and go straight into the complex as you cross over Piedmont Road.
From Downtown: Quickest way is straight up Peachtree Road heading North (past Collier Road then Peachtree Battle) take a Right onto Pharr Road (across from ESPN Zone and Cheesecake Factory). Continue down Pharr Road to the opposite end (about 3 minutes drive) get into the middle lane past the Post Office and continue straight into the Piedmont Commons as you cross over Piedmont Road.
From Lenox/Phipps Plaza: Leave the mall heading West on Peachtree and make a left onto Piedmont. You can take Piedmont down to Pharr and turn into the complex, but if you would like to cross with a traffic light, turn right onto Paces Ferry (Land Rover dealership on the corner) and a left at the first traffic light (Maple Drive) then a left at the next light - Pharr Road, continue in the middle lane until you cross over Piedmont and into the complex.
85 North through Downtown: Get off at the first exit ramp (exit 86) immediately get over one lane to the left (that lane is a direct exit to Piedmont South) then get back over and take the exit for Piedmont Road North. Head North on Piedmont through about 5 traffic lights (past Lindbergh Station, New Mercedes Benz Dealership) turn right into Piedmont Commons at the traffic light on Pharr Road. BP Gas Station will be at this light.
85 South: Get off at the Lenox exit make a right heading North. Immediately get into the lanes turning left, but get into the right lane this lane will let you go straight to Lindbergh and the Lindbergh Marta Station. Follow this road under 400 past the new Condos and make a right onto Piedmont Road (Chick-fil-a will be in front of you as well as the Lindbergh Marta Station. Go North on Piedmont for about 5 blocks and turn right into Piedmont Commons at the intersection of Pharr Road and Piedmont.
